Deus Ex: The Fall E3 Trailer

Posted by Adam Badke

Since the announcement of Deus Ex: The Fall for Android and iOS devices earlier this week, the Deus Ex community has been buzzing at the news. It’s been truly fantastic to see how much passion and dedication our fans have for Deus Ex, and it’s also worth mentioning that we’re absolutely thrilled to know how eager our PC and console fans are to get their hands on a PC/console sequel to 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution. So thank you each and every one of you for your comments and feedback on what you’ve seen so far!

Deus Ex: The Fall brings the Deus Ex universe we all love to gamers on mobile platforms – no small achievement, considered the legacy of this epic franchise. But the big question is: can mobile devices today serve up the full Deus Ex experience you've come to expect in all its black and gold glory?

The answer is: absolutely! The Fall includes the same great features that made Human Revolution so popular on PC and consoles: hacking, stealth, smart combat, and of course, new layers of conspiracy. The plot follows on from James Swallows novel Deus Ex: Icarus Effect, and sheds new light on the story at the time of Human Revolution. To get a little taste of what to expect, check out our brand new, 100% in-game E3 trailer.

Deus Ex: The Fall is scheduled to be priced at $6.99, and will be coming soon for iPads and iPhones. Android support is also confirmed. For more on the Deus Ex universe, be sure to join the conversation on Facebook, Twitter and the forums!

Interesting that you want to make this iOS exclusive. Expect to get some negative reaction from longtime fans - just like those who play Uncharted or Assassin's Creed and couldn't play the handheld versions. But I have faith this will be very good! I'm going to go download the book now. :)

I hope to see it as a dx-hr DLC.
So far it's just a good example of wrong platform.

I would buy this if I could play it on my BlackBerry PlayBook, or the BlackBerry Z10. Good to hear Android support is coming, but I hope you'll also remember BlackBerry and Windows Phone users as well.
